Job Description

Our client is a leading international payments consultancy company specializing in benchmarking cost optimization and advisory services. They support businesses in enhancing transparency reducing payment costs and securing better terms with banks and payment providers across Europe the UK and the US. Their clients primarily in ecommerce and highvolume transaction sectors rely on their expertise to ensure they have the most efficient and costeffective payment solutions. With a team of senior payment experts from international banking and PSP backgrounds they deliver datadriven insights industry benchmarks and strategic guidance to maximize value in the everevolving payments landscape.


We are looking for a resultsdriven Senior Sales Manager in Germany to join the team. This selfmotivated professional has excellent interpersonal skills and actively seeks out and engages with customer prospects. This individual will play a key role in presenting and securing new client contracts while delivering a professional customercentric service throughout the engagement process. The ideal candidate should be a hunter converter and team player capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential clients effectively presenting the service proposition
  • Tailor offerings and commercial terms to meet client needs and secure contracts
  • Lead client projects from inception to completion ensuring project objectives are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.
  • Work independently while receiving support from international teams in Europe the US and the UK.
  • Develop strong relationships with potential clients and build trust


Other Responsibilities:

  • Work as a team player contributing to overall business objectives and the company s 5year plan
  • Maintain and enhance stakeholder and client relationships to the highest standards
  • Collaborate with internal departments and teams on client projects for seamless execution
  • Lead and participate in virtual and inperson project meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct provider negotiations on behalf of the team.
  • Attend team meetings offsites and company events as required
  • Adhere to internal policies and procedures related to CRM project management and company operations
  • Represent and embody the company values in all interactions


Targets and Objectives:

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the company
  • Ensure high client retention and satisfaction through exceptional service delivery
  • Be the main generator of leads while receiving support from marketing initiatives


Requirements


  • 510 years of experience in sales financial services banking fintech or consultancy
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills to build trust with clients
  • Ability to work independently while leveraging international team support
  • Sales experience targeting companies with 20m turnovers preferably 100500m
  • Young professionals with strong sales skills and high potential will also be considered even if they lack deep industry knowledge
  • Understanding of how to navigate complex sales cycles and leverage multiple leadgeneration vehicles
  • Fluent in German and English



5-10 years of experience in sales, financial services, banking, fintech, or consultancy Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills to build trust with clients Ability to work independently while leveraging international team support Sales experience targeting companies with 20m+ turnovers, preferably 100-500m Young professionals with strong sales skills and high potential will also be considered, even if they lack deep industry knowledge Understanding of how to navigate complex sales cycles and leverage multiple lead-generation vehicles Fluent in German and English
