Job Description
This is a remote position.
A wellfunded SaaS FinTech startup is looking for an experienced Staff BackEnd/Platform Engineer to help scale their platform. With $5M in recent investments this is a unique opportunity to shape the future of financial technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize backend features and integrations using Python & Django.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and improve monitoring systems.
- Conduct performance testing and optimize system efficiency.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters and provide oncall support as needed.
Requirements
- 8 years of software engineering experience with strong Python & Django skills (7080% backend work).
- Handson DevOps & containerization experience (AWS Docker Kubernetes).
- Ability to work flexibly across backend and platform/DevOps tasks in a fastpaced startup environment.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
