Standby Personnel is seeking a highly organized and detailorientedAccounting Assistant/Office Managerto join a growing manufacturing company in Joplin. This temptohire position offersweekly payandbenefits providing an excellent opportunity for longterm career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support all administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations.
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
- Perform receptionist duties including greeting visitors and handling phone calls.
- Receive sort and distribute incoming mail and manage outgoing correspondence.
- Assist with payroll processing for both salaried and hourly employees.
- Process and monitor accounts payable including credit card receipts.
- Provide support with investor relations.
- Support HR functions as needed.
- Assist with all accounting functions.
- Provide assistance to Quality Control and Engineering staff.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting (Mandatory).
- 25 years of experiencein an accounting administrative/office management role.
- Experience in amanufacturing/production environment(required).
- Government accounting experience is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Selfmotivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience with accounting software.
