Job Description
We are seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) for a travel/contract position in PA. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.
Job Title: Director of Nursing (DON)
Location: Philadelphia PA 19115
Pay Rate: $65 to $68/hr
Duration: 09 weeks contract (can be extended)
Facility Type: Nursing Home/ SNF/ Rehab/ Hospital
Guarantee Hours: 40
Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
Days: Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Supervision: Lead mentor and manage the nursing staff including recruitment training performance evaluation and professional development.
- Policy Development & Implementation: Develop and enforce nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and promote best practices in patient care.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee patient care activities to ensure that care standards are met and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Budget Management: Manage the nursing departments budget ensuring the effective allocation of resources while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
Requirements/ Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- License: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience: 1 2 years of experience as a DON (Required)
- Updated Resume
- BLS/ CPR
- RN License (Compact/ State)
- COVID card
- Two supervisors references (name number from the recent facility)
