Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable XRay Tech to join our Radiology Diagnostic department on a 13week contract basis. This role involves performing diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures while working Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Xray imaging a keen eye for detail and excellent patient care skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic Xray exams according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Position patients properly to obtain the best quality images while minimizing discomfort.
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment ensuring it is functioning optimally.
• Review patient medical histories and collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate imaging.
• Follow proper safety procedures including radiation protection techniques for both patients and staff.
• Provide clear instructions to patients helping them feel comfortable during procedures.
• Document and maintain accurate records of all procedures patient interactions and any required notes.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the timely processing and delivery of diagnostic images.
• Ensure that all imaging procedures are conducted in compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Certification as an XRay Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) required.
• Active New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist license.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in performing Xray exams in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures anatomy and safety standards.
• Ability to operate radiology equipment and ensure accurate imaging results.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients and staff.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
• Flexibility to work day shifts (MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:00 PM).
