How You Spend Your Eight Hours
- Meticulously review the PCC system to ensure all information for enteral patients is accurate and up to date
- Input physician orders for enteral nutrients with precision adhering to company procedures
- Locate and confirm patient demographics and insurance details ensuring accurate data entry
- Identify PartB eligible and noncovered patients routing orders appropriately based on insurance coverage or house accounts
- Order Processing and Delivery Coordination
- Process orders in line with company protocols and select the best delivery method tailored to patient needs
- Generate precise sales orders using software calculations ensuring all required items are accounted for and scheduled for delivery
- Monitor outgoing shipments for timely processing and validate delivery accuracy addressing any logistical issues as they arise
- Collaboration and Reporting
- Partner with customer service billing and logistics teams to streamline order processing and delivery
- Keep meticulous records of orders and log discrepancies or issues in the companys software
What You Must Possess
- Prior experience in durable medical equipment (DME) (required) with a focus on enteral products (highly preferred)
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software particularly PCC
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data entry
- Knowledge of enteral nutrition products and their delivery requirements
- Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills fostering collaboration across departments
- Proficiency in PCC or similar EMR systems
- ERP software experience
- ERP system experience esp. in order processing and inventory management (a plus)
