Job Description
Position: Accountant
Industry: Investment
Location: Phnom Penh Cambodia
Responsibilities:
- Certify the requisition of operational expenditures by departments and offices reporting to the Accounting Manager.
- Conduct preaudits of financial obligations to ensure revenues and expenditures are accurately recorded and appropriate.
- Calculate depreciation of company assets and record the data into the accounting system.
- Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to validate cash deposits withdrawals and bank balances.
- Track and record daily operational expenses from all branches in the accounting system to produce monthly expense rep
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- At least 23 year of experience in accounting and financial roles.
- Proficiency in English and Khmer (verbal and written).
- Strong knowledge of taxation accounting principles and financial practices.
- Proven ability to work independently with trustworthiness and collaboration.
- Commitment to fostering diversity in the workplace.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Prepare file and report all relevant taxes (e.g. VAT corporate tax payroll tax) in compliance with local tax regulations and deadlines.
Working Hours:
Mon Fri (8:00am 5:00 pm)
