Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team at a leading Stock Broking Firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and a proven track record of working in the stock broking industry.
Responsibilities:
Manage the daytoday accounting operations of the stock broking firm
Prepare and analyze financial statements reports and budgets
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Monitor and reconcile accounts including bank statements and investment portfolios
Prepare and file tax returns and other required financial documents
Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters
Participate in the development of financial strategies and plans for the firm
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting practices
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting preferably in a stock broking firm
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices in the stock broking industry
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
CPA or other relevant certifications a plus
