Azure DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer you will play a key role in building and managing cloudbased infrastructure automating workflows and optimising processes to enable seamless software delivery. Collaborating closely with crossfunctional teams you will focus on designing implementing and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines and ensuring the reliability scalability and security of systems.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about continuous improvement cloud technologies and building solutions that empower development teams to deliver highquality software efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment and delivery.
• Automate and manage cloud infrastructure deployment and configuration using tools like Terraform Bicep or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks in the software delivery lifecycle.
• Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Enhance security and compliance of systems and pipelines by integrating appropriate tools and practices.
• Advocate and help uplift the capabilities to implement DevOps best practices including automation observability and scalability.
• Support application and infrastructure monitoring using tools such as Azure Monitor Dynatrace or Elastic Stack.
• Document technical processes and solutions to improve operational transparency and knowledge sharing.
• Stay uptodate with emerging trends and technologies to continuously improve systems and workflows.

Qualifications :

• Experience: 3 years in DevOps cloud engineering or related roles.
• Cloud Expertise: Proficient in cloud platforms with experience in Microsoft Azure
• CI/CD: Handson experience with tools such as Azure DevOps GitHub Actions GitLab or similar.
• IaC: Strong experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Bicep.
• Scripting: Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell Python or Bash.
• Operating Systems: Experience managing both Linux and Windows environments.
• Databases: MSSQL MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle
• Automation: Strong focus on automating workflows and eliminating manual processes.
• Monitoring: Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as AppInsights Elastic Stack or Dynatrace.
• Collaboration: Effective communication and teamwork skills to work across development operations and stakeholder teams.
• Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile Lean and DevOps principles and practices.

Nice to have

• Certifications in Azure AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with security tools like Azure Defender Snyk or similar.
• Experience working with Databricks Microsoft Fabric or other platforms for data integration and processing workflows.
