Position: AWS Administrator
Location: Atlanta GA 30334
Client: State of Georgia
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled AWS Administrator to manage and optimize our Amazon Web Services infrastructure. The ideal candidate will oversee the design deployment and maintenance of AWS solutions ensuring security scalability and reliability of our cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain AWS account configuration compliance and audit programs
- Monitor cloud resources optimize costs and manage rightsizing
- Deploy and manage Amazon EKS clusters for containerized applications
- Implement Kubernetes best practices and manage deployments services and resources
- Use AWS Config and CloudTrail for compliance audits and resource monitoring
Technical Skills Required:
- 10 years of experience in AWS and Cloud Administration
- Strong system administration skills in Windows and Linux environments
- Proficiency with automation frameworks (SaltStack Puppet Chef Ansible etc.)
- Experience in public cloud environments specifically AWS and/or Azure
- Knowledge of ITIL principles and processes
