Job Title: Data Lead Oracle ERP Data Governance

Location: Chicago IL (Remote)
Knowledge Skills and Abilities: - Experience in migrating master data and transactional data from OnPremise Oracle EBusiness and Oracle PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Expertise in Data Migration of Master data and transactional data including Extraction Cleansing Transformation Loading and Validation from Legacy systems to Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Experience with Data Migration activities for Master Data such as COA Employee Suppliers Assets etc. and Transactional and Historical data.
- Experience with Oracle Data Migration and integration processes including preparation of migration strategy conversion plan timing of data loads object dependencies sequencing of tasks.
- Experience in using ADFdi FBDI ETL and SQL and any third party tools used for data migration.
- Ability to work with large scale ERP program system integrators for timely completion of each phase
- Experience in working with Oracle Financials Procurement Assets Projects Grants HCM and Time and Labor Cloud modules.
- Specialized in Payroll data conversion reconciliation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Extensive interaction with functional and technical leadsbusiness users and SMEs.
- This data lead will be responsible for the orchestration of OnPremise Oracle EBusiness and Oracle PeopleSoft data migration activities to Oracle Fusion Cloud to meet business requirements. The Data Lead is accountable for the following responsibilities:
- Developing data governance policy plans and procedures with solid experience in developing data cleansing strategies action plans reconciliation plans and scripts.
- Good experience in understanding data models data integrity and normalization rules data extraction load and transformation scripts.
- Functional experience to understand the business context of data in Oracle EBusiness Financials and Procurement and Oracle PeopleSoft HCM and Payroll and migrating the onpremises data to relevant Oracle Fusion Cloud Services.
- Determining the validity of the values of the data elements and reviewing and validating data relationships.
- Coordinating with data owners to validate cleansed data.
- Determining data migration requirements.
- Defining roles and responsibilities for the data migration activities.
- Establish policies procedures around data governance including data retention data archival and purging.
- Reviewing and providing comments and suggestions on the data management plan data migration plan checklist timeline and conversion report delivered.
- Documenting migration activity timelines for mock conversions and production deployment.
- Developing a data migration checklist and signoff process to ensure completion of planned activities.
- Mapping the data in the format provided in conversion templates. This includes mapping the current account codes to the future account codes etc.
- Assisting with determining data migration security controls.
- Developing unit and endtoend integration migration test plans (including testing for data extraction transformation data loading and data validation).
- Solid experience with data transformation and data load testing and related tools and technologies.
- Validating data of multiple mock conversions and the full migration coordinating with unit and endtoend integration testing to ensure the flow of data from the source applications to the target applications is accurate.
- Documenting the endtoend data migration test results and lessons learned report.
