Job Description
Title: GCP Cloud Engineer
Location: Dallas TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months Contract
Interview Mode/Rounds: MS Teams (3045 minutes of Video Call both L1 & Client)/Level 1 interview with Prodapt and Final interview (Live coding test) with client.
Please Note: This is not an GCP Data Engineer role this is Purely an GCP Cloud Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Implementation experience with identity management and networking segmentation in GCP across multiple VPC networks and multiple projects.
Work closely with Architect Security/application team and provision GCP resources via terraform
* Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
* Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
* Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the needs of the company.
* Support crossfunctional teams with establishing technical strategy and architecture at an enterprise level.
* Support scalable networking design including high availability redundancy failover and load balancing.
* Support network security design including segmentation encryption logging and monitoring.
* Assessment and demonstration of new technologies; capacity planning; performance tuning.
* Experience leading GCP Cloud micro services delivery at scale i.e. responsible for:
o Deliverables.
o Technical and architecture oversight.
o CI/CD pipelines. Green/Blue deployments.
Basic Qualifications:
* 3 years of GCP experience on provisioning resources via Terraform
* Google Cloud Certified.
* Strong expertise in GCP services (i.e. Cloud Services Platform Google Kubernetes Engine Compute Engine Google Cloud Load Balancing Storage Security Monitoring etc.).
* Knowledge of Security Identity and Access Management (IAM) Key Management Access Controls and Security Protocols Network routing Firewalls ACLs cloud IaaS components on GCP.
* Knowledge with containerization orchestration tools like Kubernetes and continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
* Automate provisioning of networks and access (Organization Routes/Firewalls IAM Policy).
