Description:
Reporting to the Director of Executive and Organizational Effectiveness (EOE) provide organization development consulting to senior administrative and faculty leadership in Harvard schools and departments. Key responsibilities include conducting organizational assessments and organization redesign; working with leadership to foster a culture of diversity inclusion belonging and equity; designing and implementing largescale change efforts and strategic planning. Serve as executive coach to senior administrative leaders and faculty leaders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as OD consultant to senior administrative leaders and faculty leaders including but not limited to: conducting organizational assessments and organization redesign; consulting to department and school/unit leadership in fostering diversity inclusion belonging and equity; designing and implementing largescale change efforts and strategic planning efforts.
Develop and implement organization development solutions in partnership with related HHR departments and local school/unit leadership.
Collaborate with relevant CWD colleagues in developing intervention strategies.
Serve as executive coach to senior administrative leaders and faculty leaders.
Collect share and publicize resources tools and best practices for key initiatives and convene relevant communities of learning.
Design and facilitate leadership and DIB&E workshops for senior administrative leaders and faculty leaders
Represent CWD and HHR on University and external committees.
Other duties and projects as assigned.

Typical Core Duties:
Lead the development of specialized talent management solutions; advise local school/unit leadership
Design and conduct assessment of individual work group or organization needs; identify areas for improvement and make recommendations
Develop and implement intervention strategies relevant to organization needs and strategic priorities
Advise client groups on all aspects of learning and development; act as a resource regarding policy development and advise on developing and recommending plans processes and methods
Develop mentoring programs and coach high performing midsenior level leaders
Lead the development of tools and best practices for key initiatives
Develop and deliver workshops and trainings
Ensure compliance with University Human Resources policies procedures and requirements and applicable legal regulations
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required
Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience
Additional Qualifications:
Master s degree in organizational development (or related area) preferred along with a minimum of eight years OD consulting experience.
Demonstrated excellence in consulting skills working with executives and largescale interventions.
Demonstrated expertise in a broad array of leadership and organization development areas with special emphasis on DIB&E organization design strategy development and implementing change.
Demonstrated ability to quickly assess organizational needs and culture and implement appropriate interventions.
Demonstrates insight and creativity and offers options and solutions when approaching issues or problems.
Is proactive in identification and communication of issues or barriers that may impede an initiative or compromise its success and uses critical thinking skills to identify and determine alternative solutions/approaches.
Effective communication and influencing skills both written and oral with the ability to clearly and concisely share information and ideas with a range of senior audiences.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Capacity to develop and maintain strong professional relationships across the organization and to work collaboratively with colleagues.
A flexible can do attitude and approach to the work.
Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise discretion and tact.
