Analyzing bid documents and project specifications provided by clients
Designing detailed piping systems plot plans equipment plans line routing and piping layouts according to project requirements
Conducting piping stress analysis
Utilizing CAD software to create piping designs and blueprints
Creating detailed bills of materials including MTOs valves piping and gaskets for piping systems
Collaborating with other engineers drafters and designers to optimize designs
Conducting field visits to verify measurements and assess fabrication feasibility
Reviewing and updating existing piping systems for improved efficiency or compliance with new regulations
Documenting the design process and maintaining records for future reference and troubleshooting
Ensuring designs and modifications comply with safety and regulatory standards
Working on both Greenfield and Brownfield projects
Producing AsBuilt drawings and handling the handover of Piping Documents
Proven work experience as a Piping Design Engineer or similar role
Experience with CAD software and other engineering design tools
Proficiency in reading and understanding P&ID PFD and other system layout designs
Indepth knowledge of applicable codes and standards such as ASME ANSI OISD
Site experience would be advantageous
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 10 years of experience.
