Job Description
Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator
Location: Austin TX

Note: Candidate should be local to Austin TX with State/Federal Client Experience
We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator 3 to join our dynamic team! This is a hybrid role based in Austin TX offering an opportunity to work on highimpact projects in a collaborative environment.
Role Overview:
As a Database Administrator 3 you will play a crucial role in performance tuning database management and implementation of Oracle Database 19c Oracle RAC and Golden Gate to support a major enterprise upgrade. You will be responsible for backup recovery monitoring troubleshooting and ensuring optimal database performance in a highvolume multiterabyte environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure Oracle Database 19c Oracle RAC and Golden Gate
- Conduct advanced performance tuning on complex processes
- Perform logical and physical data modeling
- Implement database security and recovery procedures
- Manage and monitor database performance and optimize efficiency
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure database stability and scalability
- Work on disaster recovery procedures and compliance with accessibility standards
- Support project teams with database solutions and troubleshooting
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8 years of experience with Oracle Database 12c or higher
- 8 years of expertise in Oracle RAC and Golden Gate
- 8 years of Advanced SQL and Shell scripting experience
- Experience supporting multiterabyte databases with heavy transaction volumes
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft O365 applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Visio)
- Familiarity with MS Teams for large team collaboration
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid and remote team environment
- Experience with public sector organizations (Federal State or Local Government
- Familiarity with SharePoint and Jira
- Exposure to Scrum framework

- May require work outside standard business hours (evenings/weekends) based on project needs
