Job Description

Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator

Location: Austin TX

Hybrid

Note: Candidate should be local to Austin TX with State/Federal Client Experience

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator 3 to join our dynamic team! This is a hybrid role based in Austin TX offering an opportunity to work on highimpact projects in a collaborative environment.

Role Overview:

As a Database Administrator 3 you will play a crucial role in performance tuning database management and implementation of Oracle Database 19c Oracle RAC and Golden Gate to support a major enterprise upgrade. You will be responsible for backup recovery monitoring troubleshooting and ensuring optimal database performance in a highvolume multiterabyte environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure Oracle Database 19c Oracle RAC and Golden Gate
  • Conduct advanced performance tuning on complex processes
  • Perform logical and physical data modeling
  • Implement database security and recovery procedures
  • Manage and monitor database performance and optimize efficiency
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure database stability and scalability
  • Work on disaster recovery procedures and compliance with accessibility standards
  • Support project teams with database solutions and troubleshooting

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8 years of experience with Oracle Database 12c or higher
  • 8 years of expertise in Oracle RAC and Golden Gate
  • 8 years of Advanced SQL and Shell scripting experience
  • Experience supporting multiterabyte databases with heavy transaction volumes
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft O365 applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Visio)
  • Familiarity with MS Teams for large team collaboration
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid and remote team environment
  • Experience with public sector organizations (Federal State or Local Government
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and Jira
  • Exposure to Scrum framework

Work Environment & Schedule:

  • Hybrid role
  • Austin TXbased candidates only
  • May require work outside standard business hours (evenings/weekends) based on project needs
