Job Description
Core Focus:
- Complete assigned services jobs including installation preventive measures repairs calibration and validation of Laboratory instruments such as Glassware washers Incubators Biosafety cabinets Freezers Deep Freezers Lab Furnace etc.
- Conduct IQ OQ PQ in accordance with the set protocols
- To maintain track records of customers and machines & Annual Maintenance contracts
- To schedule timely undertakes and complete AMC related service calls.
- To Record and track spares requirement and Purchase order from Customers
- Keep up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service logs and internal service records in a timely manner and as per departmental guidelines/objectives.
- Maintain daily communications with customers and internal staff to ensure resolution and proper follow up leading to customer satisfaction and professionalism
- Maintain tools and test equipment properly and ensure they are calibrated timely
- Utilize the escalation process to resolve instrument faults when necessary
- Identify sales opportunities and communicate them to the sales team
- Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps to Service Manager providing solutions when possible
- Liaise with Customer Service to submit warranty claims for products and maintain records
- Operate in a safe manner observing importance to communicate to work health and safety and actively minimising risks.
- Travel to customers locations based on need.
- Other duties as requested from time to time to support the company
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across different parts of an organization
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and take initiative
- Track record of excellent customer focus
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Sound working knowledge of electronics components and sensorscontrollers data loggers etc.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong selforgainzation prioritisation and time management skills
- Good PC skills (Excel WordCustomer Database)
- Good communication skills
