Responsibilities:
A cloud database administrator (DBA) manages and secures data in cloudbased systems. They ensure that data is available to authorized users and runs efficiently.
Responsibilities:
* Database design: Organize data into a model including what data to store and how to store it
* Database backup and recovery: Create copies of the database to protect it from loss corruption or system failure
* Performance optimization: Improve how quickly and efficiently data is stored and retrieved
* Security: Manage the security of sensitive data including rearchitecting database structures
* Cloud infrastructure management: (Azure) Oversee and influence cloud service providers including infrastructure maintenance and data migration
* Database application analysis: Analyze and design database applications
* Support and management: Support and manage cloud infrastructure
Skills:
* Azure Cloud experience
* Working knowledge of Linux Oracle Microsoft Access and UNIX systems
* Good communication skills to explain complex topics to nontechnical teams
* Time management skills to juggle multiple tasks
* Proficiency in SQL and software engineering principles
