I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Client requires the services of 1 Systems Analyst 2 hereafter referred to as Candidate(s) who meets the general qualifications of Systems Analyst 2 Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Client
The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the services of (1) Systems Analyst II hereafter referred to as Worker who meets the general qualification of Systems Analyst and the specifications outlined in this document for Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Information Technology.
1. Support the migration efforts of the integrated resident information system HHSC IRIS which includes Cerner Millennium Dentrix CareTracker and RLDatix Risk Module to a new SaaS solution. This includes comprehensive planning data assessment cleansing and mapping to ensure compatibility with the new system. The Systems Analyst II will be responsible for designing and implementing workflows that integrate with the existing system ensuring a seamless transition and optimal functionality of the new system. The Worker will document all phases of the migration process engage with clinical and IT stakeholders for requirements gathering and ensure clear communication throughout the Software Development Life Cycle. (40%).
2. Ensures that design complies with HHSC standards. This task also involves setting up validation and auditing processes to maintain data integrity postmigration. (10%)
3. Perform necessary testing of the migration process including creating and executing Unit test scripts managing test scenarios analyzing test results and debugging issues. Utilize established software development and testing standards to ensure the reliability and functionality of the new SaaS solution. (25%)
4. Provide regular updates on the migration progress to all project stakeholders including immediate managers technical leads developers and business analysts. Use ticketing systems for information sharing and problem resolution. Prepare and deliver presentations and updates to both internal and external audiences to explain the migration process system functionality and technical challenges (15%)
5. Facilitate the smooth transition to the new system by providing strategic oversight and support postmigration. This includes training endusers preparing comprehensive system documentation and recommending strategies for optimizing system performance based on feedback and performance metrics. (10%)

Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the client. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM excluding State holidays when the agency is closed.
The primary work location(s) will be at Austin Texas 78751. The working position is Telework. Any and all travel per diem parking and/or living expenses shall be at the Candidates and/or Vendors expense.
