Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data and technology someone who can query and analyze data while also understanding business processes and technology solutions. While this is not an IT role the ideal candidate should be comfortable working with structured data writing queries and interpreting results to drive business insights.
This position requires a problemsolver who can bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate datadriven insights into actionable strategies ensuring that our business objectives align with our technological capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Query and analyze large datasets to uncover trends patterns and insights that drive business decisions.
- Develop and maintain reports dashboards and data visualizations to support key stakeholders.
- Work closely with business leaders to understand operational challenges and recommend databacked solutions.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for technology teams ensuring seamless collaboration between business and tech.
- Support process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and recommending optimized workflows.
- Assist in data validation quality control and troubleshooting issues related to business processes.
- Serve as a liaison between business users and data teams to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.
- Perform ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and executive decisionmaking.
- Stay current with data trends and emerging business intelligence tools to enhance reporting capabilities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. Strong SQL skills and experience querying relational databases. Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. Basic understanding of data structures, ETL processes, and reporting frameworks. Ability to translate complex data into business-friendly insights and recommendations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. Experience working with CRM, ERP, or other business software systems is a plus. Familiarity with process mapping, workflow automation, or business process modeling is a plus.
