Job Description
Hi we are looking for a Senior Project Manager Major Projects for a client in Montreal for a 1 year mandate (permanent possible) remote role from anywhere in Canada! (must be able to travel to the US unrestricted)
Our firms estimate: for a 1year mandate hourly rate of $110135 depending on experience and expertise for a permanent position $125150K.
Key esponsibilities : Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Project Planning and Execution Stakeholder Management Change Management Risk Management
Profil
- 10 years of project management experience with at least 5 years in mining field operations or heavy industrial environments.
- Indepth knowledge of WAN/LAN infrastructure telecom & Radio communication systems server platforms application development and cloud solutions.
- Experience collaborating with infrastructure maintenance teams and field operations personnel.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Bachelors degree in information technology engineering or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with diverse teams.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in change management and user training.
- Expert and experienced project & Program delivery skills and competencies
- Expert PM Plus in delivery
- Understands the methods adopted by Major Projects in terms of WBS structures chapters for feasibilities and package management
- Strength and curiosity in using data to drive improvements
Key Attributes for Success:
- Ability to navigate the challenges of mining and remote operations environments.
- Credibility with field teams and operational stakeholders leveraging direct mining or industrial experience.
- Strong risk management capabilities particularly in highrisk or regulated settings.
- Adaptability to dynamic and fastpaced working conditions
