We are looking for a PR Senior Account Executive with a minimum of eighteen months experience* in a public relations role (inhouse or agency side) to join us and support across our exciting mix of luxury lifestyle and drinks brands.
Working across our Taste and Spey drinks teams the ideal candidate will be passionate about food drink tourism and hospitality and driven to take the next step in their career.

Ideally this role will be located in our Edinburgh office with flexibility to work from home via our work where you want to work policy however other locations will be considered with the commitment of travelling to the Edinburgh office fortnightly.
* this specific role is only open to candidates with at least eighteen months industry work experience if you have a minimum of 6 months experience then our account executive role would be better suited to you. PR and digital skills
- Demonstrates excellent project planning skills.
- Demonstrates strong media writing skills for story pitching writing releases and bylines.
- Understands and uses social and digital media platforms strategically on behalf of clients.
- Able to manage events including preparation of timelines finding a venue and managing resources.
- Develops and strengthens good relationships with key media contacts; proactively makes and nurtures new contacts shares these with the team.
- Demonstrates an ability to pitch stories and find creative angles.
- Develops a positive working relationship with client.
- Able to articulate thoughts rationalisations recommendations.
Administrative/agency operations
- With Account Manager/Director ensures activity plans and status reports completed and delivered to client.
- Effective in meeting deadlines; successfully juggling multiple work priorities and managing own time.
- Shows awareness of companys objectives.
- Compliance with time reporting requirements
- Develops an awareness of internal resources and services and uses to best advantage for client or internal admin work.
- Ensures client databases are up to date and effectively managed.
Client services
- Ability to manage a budget in liaison with Account Director/Director for specific projects as directed.
- Ensures daytoday client liaison and that project/work deadlines are met. Begins to be seen as a trusted point of contact for client.
- Develops confidence to contribute own ideas to planning or brainstorm meetings.
- Demonstrates a clear understanding of clients business and competitors.
- Understands the wider PR and marketing mix to support the team in maximising revenue opportunities.
- Demonstrates growing awareness of relevant sectors including key players and issues.
- Strong research skills plus analysis and assimilation of information.
- Assists Account Manager in briefing of suppliers and freelancers.
- Demonstrates effective team communication (keeps managers informed).
Account management and strategic thinking and planning
- Begins to build account management skills; takes responsibility for specific projects.
- Builds account administration skills including budgeting and costmanagement.
- Understand the need to achieve billable and servicing targets as directed by the account team.
- Develops an awareness of account management issues; flags problems and offers early solutions.
Business development
- Contributes to and takes part in new business presentations.
- Develops knowledge of full services within the company.
- Starts to build solid presentation skills.
- Starts to develop contacts and networks to identify proactive opportunities.
- Demonstrates efficient and timely research skills in support of a new business presentation.

- Oversee junior staff and interns supervise projects.
- Coach and support the development of more junior staff.

The salary band for this role starts at 25000 per annum.
