• Estimate Pay: $43.25 to $48.00

Working Hours:
Work is typically scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Position will be 4 days remote with 1 day (Tuesday) required to be onsite. While the schedule may need to be flexible it will not exceed 40 hours per week or 838 hours total. The contractor may be occasionally called upon for afterhours as needed.

Summary:
This Systems Analyst contractor role is part of the HHSC Managed Care Utilization Review team. The position involves developing a customized solution in the HHS Microsoft 365 Power Platform to modernize the programs utilization review forms. Key responsibilities include application development using Power Apps Dataverse Power Automate Flows and Power BI reports.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Work experience with Software as a Service (Saas) and/or Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments.
• Handson experience with Microsoft PowerApps Power Automate and Power BI technical solutions.
• Microsoft Power Platform development experience.
• Experience in design and development of Canvas and Modeldriven PowerApps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse.
• Experience developing Power Automate Flows Desktop Flows business process Flows.
• Experience with Dataverse tables and uses.
• Experience with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Admin Center.
• Experience with Power BI report development.

• Experience in Agile development and sprint planning.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on crossfunctional teams.
• Experience with Power Platform mobile apps Power Virtual Agents Power Pages and PowerApps portals.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Understands business objectives and problems.
• Identifies alternative solutions.
• Performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.
• Analyzes user requirements procedures and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer systems.
• Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to:

• Analyze current operational procedures.
• Identify problems.
• Learn specific input and output requirements such as forms of data input how data is to be summarized and formats for reports.

• Writes detailed descriptions of user needs program functions and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
• Reviews computer system capabilities specifications and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within the existing system.
