Roles and responsibilities
Responsible to set, and deliver the approved targets, with and through the team, monitoring achievements & interfering when needed.
Job Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
- Prepares action plans by himself as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects for business development..
- Achieve the desired sales target/budget set by Management.
- Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
- Conducts one-on-one review meeting with all Key Account management to build more effective product displays
- Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance of department with respect to overall sales and suggest remedies for deficiencies.
- Provide timely, accurate pricing strategy / promotional campaign to compete in market
- Follow up on pricing and approval of various agencies/departments in and outside the company for new product listing or promotions.
- Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports.
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Monitors and controls level of credit in the market.
- Monitors & controls stock returns and destruction of stocks.
- Reacts to consumer/customer complaints.
- Recruits, tests, and hires sales teams based on budgeted position vacancy.
- Responsible for the performance and development of the Sales Team.
- Understand training and development needs of the department, and provide insight for the improvement of the manpower to the management.
- Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
- Participates/suggests in group discussion for annual marketing plans.
- Ensures timely implementation of POS/Advertisement material in market.
- Ensures that company assets are not misused/abused.
Required Qualification
Education: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business management or MBA
Work Experience: Minimum 10 years within FMCG experience is required, of which at least 3 must be in managerial capacity.

3. Sales Target and Quota Management
- Achieving Sales Goals: Ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales quotas, targets, and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) on a regular basis.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Providing accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management to track team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Incentive Programs: Designing and implementing incentive programs to motivate the sales team and reward top performers.
4. Customer Relationship Management
- Building Strong Relationships: Developing and nurturing long-term relationships with key clients and prospects, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Customer Retention: Identifying opportunities to improve customer retention through regular follow-ups, after-sales support, and tailored solutions.
- Client Meetings: Leading meetings with important clients, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that customer expectations are met.
- Issue Resolution: Addressing any client complaints or concerns promptly and effectively to maintain a positive relationship and prevent churn.
5. Sales Process Optimization
- Sales Process Development: Creating, streamlining, and optimizing sales processes to improve efficiency, from lead generation to closing deals.
- CRM Utilization: Leveraging Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities, ensuring data accuracy and proper follow-up.
- Sales Training: Ensuring the team is well-equipped with the tools, resources, and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles.
