Tasks and Responsibilities
As a Field Service Engineer you will play a key role in the design implementation and maintenance of integrated control and safety systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and configuring Foxboro DCS and Triconex safety systems tailored to industrial processes.
- Developing programming and customizing DCS and PLC applications including HMI interfaces for realtime data visualization and operator control.
- Providing onsite support for system maintenance upgrades troubleshooting and ensuring smooth system operation.
- Conducting system testing including Factory Acceptance Testing site acceptance testing and performance validation.
- Collaborating with clients to understand their technical requirements and deliver highquality solutions.
- Documenting project progress including system specifications and client approvals.
- Supporting cybersecurity measures and ensuring system reliability and security.
- Coaching junior engineers and serving as the main point of contact for client technical needs.
Education Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in this role you bring:
- 7 years of experience in industrial automation with a focus on DCS systems. Experience with Foxboro DCS is highly preferred; experience with other DCS systems is also valuable.
- Familiarity with Triconex safety systems is an advantage but not mandatory.
- A degree in engineering preferably electrical automation or a related field.
- Proven ability to work independently troubleshoot issues onsite and deliver results under time constraints.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on client relationship management.
- Fluency in Swedish and English (spoken and written).

Start: Upon agreement
Location: Preferably close to Stockholm or Skara with regular travel to client sites across Sweden.
