We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Legal Counsel to join our team in Sliema!

About the job:

Aunique opportunity has emerged for a skilled and passionate Legal Counsel tojoin our Legal department. The right candidate will play an important part of ateam which handles a lot of interesting and challenging projects for manydifferent stakeholders.

What youll get to do:

Draft/review/advise on a wide range of commercial iGaming and software contracts in accordance with company procedures and applicable laws;

Managing contract changes deliverables and associated correspondence and documentation;

Providing advice on contract risks and issues implementation and compliance;

Provide legal and regulatory advice to the Commercial teams during the contract process;

Contribute to any legal related matters concerning EveryMatrixs participation in RFP processes;

Dispute and litigation management including liaising with third party advisors;

Assist with KYC queries;

Provide effective legal advice and support across all levels of the business on all legal issues affecting EveryMatrix Group such as intellectual property industry regulations and employment issues.

What You need to know:

University Mastersof Advocacy or equivalent University degree in Law;

2 yearsexperience in the contract management legal field;

Knowledge ofiGaming legal landscapes considered an advantage;

Fluency inEnglish including legal English;

Comfortable usingMicrosoft Office applications;

High standard ofwork ethic always ensuring to complete all assigned tasks accurately;

Detailorientedanalytical and able to provide pragmatic solutions against tight timeframes;

Ability toidentify high risk areas and to recommend actions to mitigate such risks;

Excellentdiplomatic and negotiating skills;

Responsible andable to work on own initiative;

Ability tomultitask prioritise and work under pressure;

Ability to work ina flexible complex and changing business environment;

Ability tocommunicate with internal teams and external stakeholders includingauthorities.

• Start with 22 days of annual leave with 2 additional days added each year up to 32 days by your fifth year with us.

• Stay Healthy: 10 sick leave days per year no doctors note required.

• Hybrid work schedule: 60% work from the office and 40% work from home (during your first 3 months youll be in the office fulltime)
