About the Role
As a Senior Project Manager you will take a pivotal role in the success of the Data Center Migration Program. You will oversee and integrate complex projects ensuring effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders while managing essential project parameters such as costs scope quality and time. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering seamless project execution and driving success within a fastpaced highstakes environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Integration Management: Oversee and coordinate highlevel project processes including initiation scope management change control budgeting and closure.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with project teams to estimate effort set timelines and prioritize tasks based on overall project objectives.
- Resource Optimization: Monitor and analyze team workloads manage resource availability and supervise the performance of internal and external contributors.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify risks and implement strategies to address them proactively. Report critical issues to stakeholders and maintain transparent communication.
- Status Reporting: Provide comprehensive updates on project progress including quality assurance documentation reviews and deliverables.
- Methodology Support: Contribute to the development and enhancement of project management methodologies and tools for efficient execution.
What Youll Need to Succeed
Technical Expertise:
- Over 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager preferably within the financial sector (insurance telecommunications or consulting experience also considered).
- Indepth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project Clarity JIRA SharePoint and Confluence.
- Fluent in English with the ability to manage projects in an international environment.
Interpersonal Skills:
- Exceptional time management for both personal and team schedules.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills to align diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset to identify risks and implement solutions under pressure.
