Job Description
Position Name: Travel Echocardiography (EKG) Tech
Location: Berlin NH 03570
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Fulltime Travel Contract Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks Accepting both local and travel candidates
Pay Rate: Range $2600 to $2880 Weekly Gross pay (Nontaxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)
Unit: All units
Shifts available: Days
Shift timings: 8 Hours; Days 8.00 am 4.30 pm
Schedule: 40 hours per week guaranteed 5 shifts per week MonFri No Weekends No call
Position Requirements:
- Current Echocardiography experience: 2 years Required
- Prior travel experience: Highly preferred
Education License and Certification Requirements:
- ARDMS/RDCS or CCI Required
- NH Med Tech Registration Required
- BLS Certification from AHA Required
Job Description:
- Responsible for performing electrocardiogram (EKG) tests on patients Explaining the EKG procedure to patients taking vital signs preparing patients for EKG procedure operating EKG equipment
- Interpreting basic EKG rhythms identifying abnormalities and ensuring accurate recording of the data.
- Completing detailed reports of the EKG results including patient information rhythms observed and any significant findings.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals in patient diagnosis
- Maintaining and calibrating EKG equipment adhering to safety guidelines and ensuring accurate patient information.
