Job Title: CAPPS Financials Lead Analyst
Location: Remote (Austin Region Preferred)
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
Required Qualifications - Expertise in CAPPS Business Process Design/Redesign/Reengineering best practices.
- Proficiency in Business/System/Data Analysis and Improvement.
- Experience in developing various reporting mechanisms.
- Handson experience with ERP/CAPPS Financials/PeopleSoft in Texas.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Indepth knowledge of CAPPS GL Commitment Control Purchasing EProcurement AP Cash Receipts Inventory Assets and Grants.
- Implementation and postgolive expertise in PeopleSoft Financial modules with a focus on process improvement.
- Proven experience leading multiple State Agency CAPPS Financial Implementations.
Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with TCAPPS configuration within the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
Responsibilities - Coordinate necessary functional and technical resources for collaboration as required.
- Lead analysis efforts to reengineer or develop processes for efficient use of the CAPPS Financial system.
- Collaborate with business customers to gather system requirements improve processes and develop reports.
- Ensure consistent use of standardized project processes and forms including but not limited to:
- Functional Design Documents
- Key Design Decisions
- Change Controls
- Risk and Issue Logs
- Scope Documentation
- Configuration Documentation
- Business Process Flows
- Provide input to project management to estimate effort levels for customerrequested activities.
- Prepare detailed documentation to support the activities listed above as requested by management.
- Complete fullrange testing and configuration as needed.
- Design test and build queries to improve business processes.
