Job Description:
SUMMARY
- We are seeking a Senior Business/Data Analyst Contractor that has CloudData experience that will have the responsibility for eliciting business needs performing detailed analysis and documentation modeling processes evaluating impacts prioritizing business requests and partnering with the project teams to ensure the successful delivery of new CloudData Lake capabilities in support of various client applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Solve complex business problems utilizing business process redesign and cloud computing technologies
- Assess ASIS processes and develop new processes and/or business flows to leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) capabilities of SoftwareAsAService (SAAS).
- Consult with data engineering team and functional unit owners and document a gap analysis of capabilities requirements and needs against technology
- Apply business process reengineering methodologies for systems modernization
- Develops new standard operating procedures documentation and a handbook for Data Lake
- Prepare and present findings recommendations new operating models and new workflows in consultation with the data engineering team
- Creates methodology to measure process performance against established metrics
- Responsible for completing assignments with the ability to work on 13 projects
- Understanding the business needs and requests identifying solutions gathering information and translating business needs into documented artifacts that are understandable to business and IT personnel alike
- Work with the business users to analyze processes and system issues and turn them into actionable system changes that benefit the requesting party(s) improve efficiency in operations and overall performance
- Collaborate with project teams and business partners during project planning incremental software delivery reviews and User Acceptance testing to ensure the software has been implemented based on the specifications.

- Experience in SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodology including: eliciting/documenting user stories/acceptance criteria backlog management and Sprint reviews.
- Modeling experience (e.g. process flows use cases swim lane diagrams ASIS / TOBE diagrams mockups/wireframes)
- Experience in Google Cloud technology is a plus
- Experience in data modeling
- Experience in process reengineering
- Knowledge of Information Security Awareness
- Understanding of web applications
- Experience in Jira is a plus
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related majors.
- 10 years of IT experience; preferably in enterprise BusinesstoBusiness durable goods construction or building materials manufacturing.
- 10 years experience in systems analysis data analysis and design with proven record of successful large scale project implementations
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification is a plus..
