Job Description

Quality Assurance Manager

Montgomery County PA

Yearly Salary: $

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage resources involved in Mechanical property testing (Hardness & Fatigue Strength) and Dimensional Inspection.
  • Oversee Gage Control & Calibration system and determine what services are provided externally.
  • Work with External Suppliers to assure parts conform to stated purchase agreements and quality systems are adequate.
  • Work with crossfunctional teams as part of Design Review to determine suitable product designs inspection methods and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Identify internal s rework and customer feedback opportunities for improvements. Act on these opportunities and report up on the results.


Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in a Quality Leadership role in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with CMM and other Noncontact vision inspection systems.
  • Experience with Military Specs relative to Weapon Systems.
  • Experience with creating and maintaining the Quality Management System requirements to satisfy ISO 9001:2015 certification.
  • Experience with Statistical Analysis of Manufacturing Processes and Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility.
  • Strong ProblemSolving Skills
  • Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills
