We are looking for an experienced Murex Lead to join our team and play a pivotal role in managing and supporting critical operations for middle and backoffice teams across multiple regions (US/UK/EU). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fixedincome derivatives extensive Murex expertise and strong communication and problemsolving skills to ensure seamless operations and deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support:
Triage manage and support "run the bank" inquiries/issues for middle and backoffice teams including:
Reconciliation breaks.
Trade/events analysis and booking.
Front Office vs. Accounting P&L differences.
Collaborate with users Change the Bank (CTB)/development teams and vendors to define requirements test and implement new functionality and fixes.
Quality Assurance:
Support the QA team by writing managing and executing test cases scripts and plans to ensure quality deliverables.
Technical Expertise:
Leverage deep knowledge of Murex including:
Settlements/deliverables/SSI.
Trade booking/events workflows and validation queues (OSP).
Accounting module and confirmations.
Utilize the Murex reporting module including Dynamic Tables Datamart and Simulation Viewer.
Familiarity with Markitwire Icelink LCH/CME trades/events and compressions.
Highlevel understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the derivatives space.
Collaboration and Communication:
Act as a bridge between users and developers to identify and implement solutions effectively.
Provide guidance to teams on best practices and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Project and Test Management:
Lead projects and manage testing efforts to deliver results efficiently and effectively.
Utilize tools such as JIRA Confluence Bitbucket and MxTest/Onyx for project management and version control.
Technical Skills:
Strong working knowledge of MxConfig/CMS and the software development lifecycle.
Unix and SQL knowledge preferred for troubleshooting and analysis.
Experience/awareness of Bloomberg systems (e.g. TOMS DLIB) preferred.
Qualifications:
10 years of handson experience with Murex including settlements trade booking workflows and reporting modules.
8 years of experience in a leadership role supporting Murexrelated operations.
Indepth knowledge of fixedincome derivatives processing trade lifecycle and related capital markets.
IRD/CRD expertise required; MM/FX experience preferred.
Familiarity with industry platforms such as Markitwire and Icelink.
Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the derivatives space.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven experience in project and test management.
Education
Bachelor s/Master s Degree or equivalent
