Job Description
Company Background:
A leading manufacturer of prefabricated modular data center solutions specialize in the data center and power systems industry. With R&D facilities in Shanghai and highend manufacturing plants in Shanghai and Malaysia it delivers innovative solutions for hyperscale data center projects globally. The company is located in Johor Bahru and the actual working location is subject to the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor electrical equipment including generators transformers and circuit breakers.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Respond to electrical faults and emergencies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards (e.g. OSHA local electrical regulations).
- Maintain and update records of electrical systems and maintenance activities.
- Assist with coordination of power supply and backup systems in case of outages.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure the smooth functioning of data center operations.
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid Chargeman BO license.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance and safety procedures ideally in a data center or industrial environment.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to respond to electrical emergencies.
- Knowledge of electrical systems including backup power solutions.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
