Job Description
We are on the lookout for a Senior Software Engineer (Android) Quick Commerce to join the Pelican squad on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences and contribute to the creation of our nextgeneration platform that aims to provide the best tools for our partners working in supermarkets local stores pharmacies and more. Work on a platform that helps local business around the world with their daily tasks in a seamless and efficient way
Make impactful decisions and take ownership of them while demonstrating collaborative problemsolving skills
Ensure high code quality testing and engineering best practices and overall product performance
Develop multimodule applications to ensure code reusability and maintainability
Write comprehensive unit tests and instrumental tests to ensure product quality and reliability
Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the build test and deployment process
Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends technologies and best practices in Android development and share knowledge within the team
Qualifications :
At least 5 years of experience in developing Android applications
Native mobile app development experience using Kotlin
Strong foundation in Computer Science (data structures algorithms software design)
Solid experience with Coroutines and Flow
Strong understanding of Room for local data storage and caching
Expertise in writing unit tests
Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for automated build test and deployment processes
Full professional English proficiency
