Job Description

About the Team: 

Reporting to the Director Financial Operations the Manager Accounts Payable will be responsible for overseeing the operational accounting functions primarily consisting of expense management and accounts payable. He/She will maintain an appropriate level of control to ensure payments. The person will also be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities within the department to increase the efficiency and accuracy of the operational accounting functions.

  • Manage the monthly closing of operational accounting records and posting of month end information.


Qualifications :

How to Excel in this Role: 

  • Hold a DEC in accounting and management or a BAC in accounting or finance (or equivalent);
  • More than 8 years experience in accounting/finance including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position;
  • Deep knowledge of SAP S4/Hana and Excel;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (in French and English). French is required as it is the language in the Quebec province.
