Working on Peacocks Advanced Content & Strategic Analytics team you will leverage a wide spectrum of data to supply and advise key Peacock and NBCUniversal content decisionmakers and stakeholders. You will influence the acquisition programming and merchandising of content as well as other key strategic business initiatives. With a catalogwide purview you will have the opportunity to shape the direction of Peacocks content strategy by providing clear and objective insights and recommendations. Your work will help us to identify trends evaluate the performance of content and provide prescriptive analytics to the business. This role requires a deep understanding of the media landscape and an ability to translate complex data into actionable insights & strategies. Collaboration is key in this role and you will work closely with Data Science Consumer Insights and other Content Analytics teams to ensure all key perspectives are integrated into our storytelling. Your ability to communicate findings clearly and persuasively will be essential in how we help the business push toward its goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Query and analyze complex datasets to develop content insights and provide performance updates that drive programming and strategic decisions.
Be the sourceoftruth for performance of all content on Peacock our evolving KPIs and how our customers watch and engage with the platform with a title/brand/franchise lens
Partner closely with key business stakeholders and teams (e.g. Content Acquisitions Film Studios Editorial/Merchandising teams) to define business needs craft an analytics approach and develop appropriate data solutions
Generate adhoc analyses to answer critical and timesensitive business questions and identify areas of strategic opportunity.
Synthesize complex analyses KPIs and concepts into digestible presentations for a variety of audiences including key stakeholders and exec. Leadership
Support the development and maintenance of a variety of content performance focused dashboards that will be utilized in key decision making across NBCU.
Research and test new tools and products for team use i.e. AI generative meta data dashboard building UIs data querying products.
Assist in creating product documentation including user guides and data and metric dictionaries.
Stay up to date on competitors and new content to accurately compare and identify content for analysis.
Help contribute to a diverse equitable and inclusive work culture at Peacock
Qualifications :
2 years of experience working in analytics data visualization roles and a proficient storyteller
Experience with SQL BigQuery and/or Data Bricks; additional programming languages used for data analysis (i.e. Python R) is a plus
Proficiency in turning complex analyses into PowerPoint Presentations
Experience with Tableau (or other data visualization software)
Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
Exceptional communication and project management skills.
Experience with statistical modeling and/or advanced data science techniques is a plus
Experience with Nielsen Data and Adobe Analytics is a plus
Bachelors degree in Business Analytics Data Science Computer Science Statistics Mathematics Economics or other relevant quantitative fields
Professional team player with an aptitude and willingness to learn
Strong sense of curiosity accountability and ability to execute projects of all sizes with vision & purpose
Passionate and knowledgeable of the Entertainment industry and a familiarity with NBCU programming

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range: $85000$105000
