Job Description
Bill rate: BR to BR
As a DBT data modeler for Enterprise Analytics (EA) team your responsibilities will include:
MDM Data Vault: Efficiently design and develop DBT based data models/entities by understanding the project needs
Data Warehousing: Design develop and maintain data structures that facilitate efficient data processing storage and retrieval in an enterprise data warehouse (Snowflake).
SQL: Proficiently create debug and optimize stored procedures functions and views to ensure data accuracy and availability.
Python: Leverage Python for scripting and automation tasks enhancing data workflows and processes.
Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality and integrity by validating and cleansing data identifying and resolving anomalies and implementing data quality checks.
Collaborative Spirit: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including data analysts scientists and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
Strong expertise in DBT based data modeling concepts and best practices (project structure testing automation packages deployment etc.).
Experience with Data Vault 2.0 architecture & MDM implementation (Hubs Links Satellites etc.)
Strong proficiency in SQL programming including the ability to create and debug stored procedures functions and views.
Experience with Python for scripting and automation tasks is preferred.
Prior working experience in Snowflake Airflow orchestration is nice to have.
Selfmotivated and eager to take ownership of projects.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
