Purpose of the Role
To be the reference person in charge of the Availability & Pricing Product in relation with Digital & Revman business areas owning the design delivery and operation of the Availability & Pricing Tech Product.
Accountabilities
Lead Product Strategy:
Define and prioritize the product vision roadmap and objectives in alignment with the airlines business goals.
Transform the external services to internal product:
Design and execute a plan to convert external services into a competitive internal product.
Manage the transition process including technical assessment product internal implementation guided by the IB/IAG processes framework and financial management.
Manage Key Suppliers:
Oversee the integration and performance of services from Google ITA/QPX and Amadeus.
Ensure interoperability and optimization of these solutions within the airlines ecosystem.
Product Management
- Prepare for Program Increment (PI) or Townhall planning events update the teams backlog and contribute to the program vision roadmap and content presentations.
- Support program backlog refinement and prepare for PI or Townhall planning playing a significant role in the planning event itself.
- Support story definition providing clarifications necessary to assist agile tech teams with their story estimates and sequencing.
- Determine team Program Increment objectives together with the entire Agile team(s).
- Build edit and maintain the team backlog with input from System Architecture/Engineering and other stakeholders.
- Measure and report based on KPIs and OKRs with Business Product and Tech endtoend scope and DevSecOps mindset.
- Serve as the customer proxy responsible for working with Product Management and other stakeholders.
- Prioritize and reprioritize backlog items based on user value time and other team dependencies.
- Define Stories and prioritize the Product Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities.
- Communicate story details and priorities ensuring the team aligns and agrees on a final iteration plan.
- Collaborate with the Availability & Pricing Delivery and other Customer & Commercial tech agile teams.
- Validate that the story meets acceptance criteria ensuring it complies with its Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD).
- Act as a key role/agent in digital transformation initiatives across the Group and in the Operating Company (Iberia).
- Understand the scope of upcoming enabler work and collaborate with Solution Architects/Engineering to assist with decisionmaking and sequencing.
- Participate in team demos and retrospectives with Availability & Pricing Delivery teams and other stakeholders.
- Build a strong and trustworthy relationship with Availability & Pricing Delivery business stakeholders.
- Coordinate dependencies with other Product Owners and Scrum Masters.
- Work across teams to define and implement improvement stories that will increase the velocity and quality of the program.
- Attend relevant Product Management events for planning and Program Backlog/Vision refinement.
Qualifications :
Required Skills Qualifications & Experience
- Educated to degree level.
- Proven experience in IT project management which should be recently gained (minimum of 34 years of experience).
- An understanding of IT product control and risk management principles cybersecurity cloud computing concepts technologies and system development life cycle methodologies.
- A sound understanding of operating system databases web and network infrastructures.
- Ability to comprehend write and speak English in a business environment (Spanish will be an advantage).
- Experience of working in a complex and sophisticated systems environment.
- Proven ability to lead and drive digital transformation initiatives by aligning technology solutions with business goals.
- Strong expertise in product lifecycle management including identifying opportunities for innovation and optimizing processes for scalability.
- Skilled in stakeholder management fostering collaboration between crossfunctional teams to deliver highimpact technology products.
- Ability to assist nontechnical audit colleagues in understanding technology risk and controls.
- Experience working with JIRA Service Now or other ITSM tools.
