Job Description
This position is remote however the incumbent will be asked to come into the Warrenville IL office 4 5 times over the summer.
Overview:
The Procurement Analytics Intern position is a supportive role to the Procurement Analytics Manager and is an opportunity for the right candidate to build skills in Project Management Company Initiative Execution and Data/Analytics Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Support the management of Procurement data through the use of existing tools and engagement with a crossfunctional team.
- Develop documentation for various processes as assigned.
- Data collection and analysis for various adhoc reports as needed.
- Support Analytics Strategic Roadmap initiatives.
This is an opportunity to work fulltime during the summer. There will be an opportunity to work parttime during the school year and holiday breaks. The number of hours and work times can be adjusted to accommodate the students schedule.
Qualifications :
- Candidates should be working toward a Bachelors Degree from accredited University. Prefer students who have completed their Sophomore or Junior year.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required; both verbal and written.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize.
- Strong computer skills: Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Google Suite.
- Must be flexible and exercise a high level of discretion and latitude in completing tasks.
- We are seeking an individual who can work independently and/or collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
- Must be a team player willing to ask for help when needed and focus on learning about what Data and Analytics entails and has to offer!
Additional Information :
The rate of pay for this role at the noted location is $20 / hour. In addition to base pay depending on the role the total compensation package may also include overtime shift differential callin and standby pay.
