Performance Testing Manager

We are looking for an experienced Performance Testing Manager to lead and manage the performance testing efforts across the organization. In this role you will be responsible for establishing performance testing processes selecting and implementing the right tools and overseeing the execution of performance test plans. You will collaborate closely with development teams to ensure that performance testing is integrated into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and will lead a team of performance test engineers. If you have strong analytical skills a deep understanding of performance testing and a passion for optimizing application performance this is the perfect role for you.

Key responsibilities:

• Establish and manage performance testing processes across the organization to ensure consistent and efficient performance testing practices.
• Select implement and maintain appropriate performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter Gatling K6) to support testing efforts.
• Design develop and oversee the execution of performance test plans scenarios and scripts to evaluate the scalability stability and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to optimize application performance and ensure the adoption of performance testing processes throughout the SDLC.
• Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks and work with stakeholders to recommend solutions for improvement.
• Prepare and present performance test reports to key stakeholders including insights and recommendations for performance optimization.
• Lead and mentor a team of performance test engineers providing guidance training and support for their professional development.
• Drive continuous improvement in performance testing practices ensuring they align with organizational goals and industry standards.

We are happy to hear from you if you have:

• Over 7 years of experience in performance testing and management including experience in designing and managing performance testing strategies.
• Proficiency with performance testing tools such as JMeter Gatling K6 and other related tools.
• Strong understanding of technologies such as Java .NET Python and other relevant programming languages for performance testing.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills to identify and resolve performancerelated issues effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in web applications servers databases and networks.
• Proven experience in optimizing application performance identifying key areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and with stakeholders to address performance challenges.
• A University/College degree or equivalent combination of education certification and experience in a relevant field.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB Performance Tester or similar are a plus.
