We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated API Platform Engineer to join our clients team. In this role you will be responsible for the design implementation and maintenance of the API platform that supports key services and applications. Your work will directly impact the scalability and operational stability of the IT solutions and youll play a critical role in shaping the tools and procedures that improve deployment monitoring and logging. If you are passionate about building scalable platforms and improving operational efficiencies this is an excellent opportunity for you.
Key responsibilities:
- Design implement and maintain the API platform to ensure it meets the organizations requirements for performance scalability and reliability.
- Develop and integrate tools and procedures for monitoring logging and enhancing deployment processes.
- Provide comprehensive documentation for the API platform and guide internal teams in effectively using the platform for their services.
- Ensure the scalability and operational stability of IT solutions across multiple environments.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to continuously improve API performance and user experience.
- Monitor platform performance resolve issues and proactively make improvements to optimize operations.
- Support API Lifecycle Management including versioning governance and integration into CI/CD pipelines.
We are happy to hear from you if you have:
- Strong experience with IBM API Management Platform and its various components.
- Proficiency in Linux and Python scripting for automating tasks and improving deployment processes.
- Experience with OpenShift Kubernetes and Helm to manage containerized applications and services.
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD practices and experience with tools for automation and continuous integration.
- Background in IT/software engineering with a deep understanding of platform design and development.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Strong analytical and structured approach to problemsolving and work processes.
- Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken.
