At our Berlin location (and optionally Munich or Constance) we are looking for a Senior Tracking Engineer (m/f/d).
Deine Aufgaben
As a Senior Tracking Engineer you will be at the heart of our digital analytics ensuring precise and efficient tracking for our web and app products. Your expertise will shape how we collect measure and optimize data and thereby you drive insights and businesscritical decisions.
- Lead the tracking strategy and execution for all our digital products (web and mobile apps).
- Design implement and optimize tracking and measurement frameworks to ensure accurate and meaningful data collection.
- Serve as primary point of contact for data collection and trackingrelated matters across departments including Product IT Marketing and Editorial.
- Provide clarity and transparency regarding KPIs and tracking insights for stakeholders.
- Conduct deepdive analysis and support A/B test.
- Maintain tracking continuity through thorough quality assurance and monitoring during every product release.
Dein Profil
- As Senior Tracking Engineer you are passionate about understanding user behavior and transforming it into actionable insights through robust tracking and data structures.
- You hold a degree in a technical field or possess equivalent professional qualifications.
- You have extensive experience in website tracking (Google Tag Manager) and app tracking (ideally with Google Firebase) including both clientside and serverside implementation.
- You are proficient in JavaScript and SQL with experience in BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform being a strong advantage.
- You thrive in a collaborative transparent work environment and value communication and knowledge sharing.
- You stay uptodate with tracking challenges and emerging platforms constantly expanding your skillset.
- You are detailoriented independent and have a strong affinity for numbers and data.
- Excellent command of English is a must German language skills helpful but not a prerequisite.
