The Role:
Were seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a preferred background in Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) / Guarantees of Origin (GOs) and the renewable energy industry in general. In this role youll play a crucial part in expanding our client base developing strategic partnerships and driving the adoption of our cuttingedge platform.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify engage and build lasting relationships with potential clients focusing on companies seeking renewable energy solutions.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop and nurture partnerships with key industry players enhancing our market presence and expanding our service offerings.
  • Sales & Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations and close deals ensuring alignment with Renewabls goals and values.
  • Expertise: Deepen your expertise in the UK & European power market and leverage this knowledge to deliver exceptional value to our clients
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with our product marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
  • Performance Monitoring: Set and achieve sales targets contributing to the companys growth and success.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record in business development within the renewable energy sector.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of renewable energy markets regulatory frameworks and sustainability trends.
  • Relationship Building: Strong networking skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrated success in driving sales growth closing deals and achieving targets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment with a proactive and flexible approach to challenges.
  • Passion for Sustainability: A genuine commitment to advancing renewable energy and sustainability initiatives.
