Job Description
Role: Senior GIS QA/Test Manager
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Austin TX 78744 (Candidates must be local as they will need to be onsite 2 days a week one of those days are Tuesday)
The Quality Assurance / Test Automation Engineer at this level will
- Work as part of a Scrum Team
- Complete user stories bugs and technical debt
- Create maintain and execute test cases
- Review and update existing test cases
- Create test plans including postdeployment smoke tests
- Create test automation scripts
- Incorporate test automation scripts into the build process
- Conduct performance testing on the application and REST services
- Create and triage bugs found during testing
- Analyze and verify submitted bugs
- Evaluate user stories with the Product Owner(s) to refine requirements
Required Skills:
47 years of
- Requirement refinement with Product Owners
- Experience with setting up automation framework
- Azure DevOps (project management user stories/bugs/test cases etc.)
- GIS application testing
- Test Plan
- Creating a Test Plan
- Writing and maintaining test cases
Automation Testing (Selenium)
- Creating and maintaining automated test cases
- Integrate automation testing into build process
Performance Testing (JMeter LoadRunner)
- Application performance testing (frontend/backend)
- REST service performance testing
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with
- IDEs/tools (Eclipse Visual Studio IntelliJ)
- Agile methodology
- BDD methodology
- Cucumber
