Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing implementing and maintaining CI/CD/CT pipelines using Harness to automate build test and deployment processes.
-
This hybrid role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

The position operates during the day shift and does not require travel.

Role & Responsibilities:
CI/CD/CT Pipeline Development:
-
Design implement and maintain CI/CD/CT pipelines using Harness to automate build test and deployment processes.
-
Migrate the Groovy based Jenkins pipelines to Harness using a tool/framework.
-
Optimize pipelines for performance scalability and error recovery.
-
Implement deployment strategies such as canary releases blue/green deployments and rolling updates.
Integration Management:
-
Integrate Harness with source control tools (e.g. GitHub GitLab Bitbucket) container registries and artifact repositories (e.g. Docker Hub Artifactory).
-
Enable seamless communication with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Splunk).
-
Ensure tight coupling with testing frameworks and security scanning tools (e.g. Selenium SonarQube).
-
Establish the Quality Gates as part of the Quality Engineering processes systematically.
Automation and Scripting:
-
Automate repetitive tasks through scripting in Python Bash or Go.
-
Develop custom scripts and templates to extend Harness capabilities as needed.
-
Ensure InfrastructureasCode (IaC) practices using Terraform or Pulumi for reproducible infrastructure provisioning.
Kubernetes and Cloud Deployments:
-
Experience in building Kubernetesbased deployments on platforms like GKE EKS or AKS.

Collaborate with cloud engineers to implement multicloud and hybridcloud CI/CD strategies.
-
Utilize service mesh technologies like Istio for traffic routing during deployments.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
-
Monitor pipeline performance and resolve issues in realtime using tools like Harness Insights Prometheus and Grafana.

Perform root cause analysis for failed builds or deployments and implement preventive measures.
-
Implement postdeployment health checks and rollback mechanisms.
Security and Compliance:
-
Enforce security policies in pipelines including secret management RBAC and compliance checks.
-
Integrate Harness with tools like Hashi Corp Vault or similar for secure credential management.
-
Ensure adherence to regulatory standards such as SOC 2 HIPAA or GDPR in CI/CD workflows.
Collaboration and Support:

Work closely with development teams to integrate CI/CD processes into the software development lifecycle.

Provide technical guidance and best practices to junior engineers and crossfunctional teams.

Collaborate with FinOps teams to align pipeline processes with cost optimization goals.
