OBJECTIVE: The ACCOUNT DIRECTOR is a key leadership role responsible for driving client satisfaction team management and business growth. The individual will demonstrate a combination of strategic acumen strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record in account management in the advertising or marketing sector.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cultivate enhance and nurture strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Ensure client needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Offer strategic insights and solutions tailored to each clients unique goals and objectives.
- Spearhead the development and execution of account strategies in line with client objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends to provide proactive strategic recommendations.
- Lead mentor and develop the account team ensuring career progression skill development and motivation.
- Ensure efficient resource allocation and workload distribution.
- Ensure timely execution and quality delivery of all projects.
- Monitor budgets and ensure profitability.
- Streamline processes and workflows to maximize efficiency.
- Identify and secure opportunities for business expansion with existing clients.
- Contribute to new business efforts pitching and agency growth strategies.
- Foster a collaborative environment working closely with other agency departments.
- Provide regular updates insights and strategic recommendations to the Executive Business Director.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor s degree in Marketing Advertising Communications or a related field.
- Minimum of 710 years of experience in account management in an advertising or marketing agency setting.
- ARCON certification.
- Proven ability to develop and execute account strategies that drive client growth.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of the industry market trends and client needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of business development and growing accounts.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
