Investor Relations Specialist

Roles and responsibilities

Develop and execute an investor relations strategy to maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.
Prepare and present financial and operational performance reports for investors, analysts, and shareholders.
Manage communication with current and potential investors, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of financial reports, earnings releases, and corporate updates.
Coordinate and lead quarterly earnings calls, investor meetings, roadshows, and annual general meetings.
Ensure compliance with disclosure regulations and manage the company’s investor communications in line with Tadawul’s requirements.
. Communication with Investors and Stakeholders
Investor Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the company and its investors. Provide clear, accurate, and timely information about the company’s financial performance, strategies, and future prospects.
Quarterly and Annual Reports: Assist in the preparation and distribution of quarterly earnings reports, annual reports, and other financial disclosures. Ensure that reports are aligned with regulatory requirements and convey the company’s performance in a transparent manner.
Investor Meetings and Calls: Organize and manage investor meetings, earnings calls, roadshows, and one-on-one meetings with institutional investors and analysts. Ensure that all presentations and discussions align with the company’s strategic messaging.
Press Releases: Work closely with the communications and legal teams to craft press releases related to financial results, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), partnerships, and other corporate developments.
Market Intelligence and Analysis
Monitor Market Trends: Track market trends, investor sentiment, and competitor performance to assess how these factors may affect the company’s stock and reputation.
Investor Sentiment Analysis: Use data, investor feedback, and market research to gauge investor sentiment and reactions to corporate developments, news, and earnings announcements.
Benchmarking: Benchmark the company’s performance against competitors and industry standards to ensure that the organization is well-positioned in the eyes of investors.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all investor relations activities are compliant with securities regulations and disclosure requirements (e.g., SEC regulations for U.S.-based companies or relevant national authorities).

Desired candidate profile

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in investor relations, with experience in a similar role at a listed Saudi company.
Strong knowledge of Saudi capital market regulations, Tadawul requirements, and corporate governance for publicly listed companies.
Proven ability to manage investor relations and communicate effectively with institutional investors, analysts, and regulatory bodies.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in Arabic and English.
Excellent problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Strategic Messaging and Corporate Storytelling
Messaging Strategy: Develop key messages that effectively communicate the company’s value proposition, growth prospects, financial health, and long-term strategy. Ensure consistency across all channels of communication.
Brand Positioning: Position the company positively in the investment community by highlighting strengths, growth opportunities, and strategic direction.
Investor Presentations: Prepare and deliver presentations to institutional investors, analysts, and at investor conferences to share company performance, outlook, and strategic plans.
Relationship Management
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders, ensuring they have the information needed to make informed investment decisions.
Shareholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with retail investors, providing them with accessible information on the company’s performance and addressing any concerns they may have.
Crisis Management: In the event of a corporate crisis or negative event (e.g., earnings miss, product recall), manage the communication strategy to minimize damage to the company’s reputation and maintain investor confidence.
