Our client is a key player in the financial service sector. They are currently looking to hire a team lead settlement operations.
JOB OBJECTIVE:
Oversee settlement activities in line with regulatory compliance service delivery and control and liaising with internal and external parties for escalated resolutions
ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Engage business units in areas of business and product development to give input on areas of settlement
2. Liaise with switching companies on escalated issues
3. Review and ensure all settlement and reconciliation transactions are done as at when due.
4. Oversee an effective dispute resolution process in line with regulatory standards in order to avoid loss of fund
5. Assist the Head of digital operations to ensure delivery of efficient support on all alternate channels.
6. Authorize account opening for collection accounts.
7. Resolve issues regarding recall of funds from other banks
8. Authorization of postings through bulk transactions and core banking application.
9. Oversee activities in interbank electronic funds transfers.
10. Develop initiatives for process improvement and digitization of processes.
