Job Description

We are seeking exceptional Occupational Therapist candidates to join our team and make an impact!

Starting Date: February

Weekly Commitment: FullTime

Setting: Elementary and Middle School

As an Occupational Therapist you will assess students functional abilities to determine their needs in areas such as fine and gross motor skills sensory integration selfcare and daily activities. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations preparing detailed reports and developing individualized treatment plans and goals aligned with each students IEP. Youll provide oneonone and group therapy sessions to address sensorymotor integration challenges and improve functional skills. Additionally you ll collaborate closely with IEP teams to create therapy plans that support educational objectives and enhance student learning in both school and natural settings. Progress will be monitored and documented to ensure ongoing development.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program and hold a current Illinois state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist. Experience working in a school setting with K12 students is highly preferred. The candidate should have a strong understanding of child development educational assessments and therapeutic interventions tailored to the school environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential as the role requires working closely with students teachers parents and other professionals to support student success.
