Roles and responsibilities
- Thoroughly study the Contract scope of work and construction drawings and understand the budget.
- Fully understand QHSE requirements and be accountable for implementation of the same.
- Identify provide necessary resources required for the project schedule.
- Ensure timely execution of project as per the schedule by allocating daily project targets of various disciplines.
- Control the team of Team leaders, Engineers, Supervisors and Foremen and extract the progress in line with the project-planning document.
- Obtain daily activity progress report, review the same against the planned target achievement of daily panned activity and forward to the Planning Engineer
- Liaise with Customer regularly and sort out all construction issues, to ensure continuity of work at site
- Follow up with Plant department for equipment repair and maintenance.
- Initiate Technical Query where need arises
- Record all the deviations and ensure updating of As built
- Coordinate and follow up with draughtsman for preparation of shop drawings as required at site.
- Close coordination with the Project Manager for technical, administrative, commercial matters.
- Approve Material Issue Slips with BOQ item code with respect to budget
- Monthly reconciliation of all material and initiate action to minimize wastages at site.
- Support QS/Planning to raise monthly bills
- Collect data for business opportunities in the vicinity
- Control subcontractor activities site activities and periodically certify invoices
- Officiate as Project Manager in the absence of Project Manager
- Act as a trustee of the Company ensuring outstanding performance in all HSE matters.
- Ensure implementation of Company IMS Standards requirements in its true spirit so as to ensure meeting company objectives.
- Any other assignments given from time to time by the Project Manager/Head of Division/CEO.

Project Planning and Coordination
Project Scheduling: Develop and manage detailed project schedules, ensuring that milestones are met and that resources are allocated efficiently.
Budget Management: Prepare and manage the construction budget, ensuring that the project stays within financial constraints. Monitor costs and ensure any changes are documented and managed.
Resource Allocation: Ensure that all necessary resources (labor, materials, equipment) are available and allocated appropriately throughout the project.
Procurement: Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and the best possible quality.
Permitting and Approvals: Ensure that all required permits, licenses, and legal approvals are obtained before work begins and throughout the construction phase.
. Team Leadership and Supervision
Supervise Staff and Subcontractors: Oversee on-site personnel, including site engineers, laborers, subcontractors, and other specialists. Provide leadership and ensure they work efficiently and adhere to safety regulations.
Hiring and Training: Recruit skilled workers and subcontractors, providing training and orientation to ensure they understand project requirements, safety procedures, and quality standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth communication and coordination across all teams involved.
