Produce a comprehensive and viable construction program in conjunction with the Project Manager or designates.
Verify actual progress versus scheduled progress on a daily basis, alerting the Project Manager of any areas of concern regarding schedule slippage of line items and the knock-on effect to related activities.
Maintain a constant critical path analysis.
Close coordination with the material/purchase and stores departments.
Analysis of actual and projected delivery dates and their scheduled impacts. Evaluation of early deliveries and possible schedule benefits.
Maintain current revenue/cost status information and provide revenue/cost projections per activity.
Continually provide the Project Manager with information on the most cost-effective manpower/equipment loading levels per activity.
Provide projections on earliest manpower/equipment, mobilization & demobilization dates.
Provide constant support to the Project Manager in preparing the budget, cost analysis and ensure that the project remains within budgetary parameters and moves forward to a successful conclusion for both the client and company.
Oversee the monthly client billing and certification.
Address and coordinate the contractual issues related to time and schedule with all concerned.
Generate the reports according to the client, project and corporate requirements.
A wide degree of creativity and interpersonal skills is expected.

Project Planning and Scheduling
Develop Project Schedules: Create detailed project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project), ensuring that timelines are realistic and that the project will be completed within the specified timeframe.
Task Breakdown: Break down the project into smaller tasks or work packages, defining dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.
Resource Planning: Determine the resources (personnel, equipment, materials) needed for each task and ensure they are available when required.
Budget and Cost Estimation: Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for the project, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to meet budgetary constraints.
Critical Path Analysis: Identify the critical path (the sequence of tasks that determine the project duration) to ensure timely completion and mitigate any delays.
Monitoring and Control
Track Project Progress: Continuously monitor and track project progress against the established plan and timeline, ensuring that milestones and deliverables are met.
Update Schedules: Regularly update project schedules to reflect actual progress, including adjustments for delays, changes, and unexpected events.
Resource Utilization: Monitor the utilization of resources to ensure they are being used efficiently and take corrective actions if needed.
Report Generation: Generate regular progress reports for stakeholders, highlighting any deviations from the plan, potential risks, and mitigation measures.
Forecasting: Provide projections for future work, estimating the resources required, potential bottlenecks, and the overall timeline to completion.

Identify Risks: Identify potential risks that could affect the project schedule, cost, or quality, and work with the project team to develop mitigation plans.
Issue Resolution: Collaborate with team members, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve issues and obstacles that may arise during the project.
Change Management: Manage changes to the project plan or scope, ensuring that any modifications are documented, assessed for impact, and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
Contingency Planning: Develop contingency plans for possible delays, budget overruns, or resource shortages, ensuring that the project remains on track despite challenges.
